Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm D)

Overview

• DURATION: Pharm.D is a 6 year program during which 5 years is an academic session and the sixth year is completely obliged to do internships in the hospital.
• This course was developed with the aim of developing pharmacists to play an important role in patient care as members of the health care team. At the end of the course, clinical pharmacists develop and acquire competences (knowledge, skills and attitudes) to provide pharmaceutical care services, information services on drugs and poisons, advice to patients, identify drug interactions, control adverse reactions to medications, carry out therapeutic treatments. medication monitoring, help in adjusting the dose of the drug in special patients and renal / hepatic patients, help / coordination in conducting clinical trials, promotes the rational use of medicines and, ultimately, contributes to better care to the patient.

Eligibility

The qualification required is 10+2 with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects with any one of the Mathematics or Biology subject.
