Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm D)

As per the rules and regulations of The Tamilnadu Dr M.G.R Medical University, Chennai/ Directorate of Medical Education, Chennai, Government of Tamilnadu, Chennai.

• The candidate shall have passed HSC examination with English as one of the subjects and Physics, Chemistry, Biology or Botany & Zoology or Mathematics subjects. ​
• The candidate shall have passed D. Pharmacy from an institution approved by Pharmacy Council of India under section 12 of the Pharmacy Act 1948. ​
• Vocational stream & National open school certificate is not eligible for admission.
• The candidate should have completed 17 years of age on the date of admission or should complete the age of 17 years on or before 31st December of the year of admission. ​

Pharm. D course is unique because it combines the development and application of advanced clinical pharmacy skills with contextual research.
