Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm D)

• A pass in any of the following examinations (1) 10+2 examination with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects.
• A pass in D.Pharm course from an institution approved by the Pharmacy Council of India.
• Any other qualification approved by the Pharmacy Council of India.

Hostel: There are separate hostel for men and women in the campus itself.The room rent and establishment charges will be fixed reasonably by the management. Arrangements have been made for washing clothes, which are to be collected and delivered periodically at the students expenses. A fully qualified medical attendant is available at the campus. Medical and hospital facilities are available at Dharmapuri and the cost of the same would have to be met by the students. Mess and Canteen facility is available for the inmates at reasonable rates for the students from different states.

Transport: The college has its own fleet of buses connecting the campus with different points of the city and suburbs. Wherever necessary, the buses are relocated for the benefit of students and staff. The fee for transport is semester wise and to be paid in advance. Fee once paid will not be refunded. Using of college transport is optional.

Analytical & Research Laboratory: There are 14 laboratories available with adequate sets of equipments and apparatus, where all the students in a practical class can simultaneously perform the same experiment. A sophisticated instrumentation laboratory with Shimadzu Double Beam UV-Visible Spectrophotometers, FTIR, Spectrofluorimeter, analytical HPLC, Preparative HPLC, HPTLC, Gas chromatograph, rotary tablet punching machine, Tablet coating machine, Kalweka multi-purpose equipment, Brookfield’s Viscometer, Rotary vacuum evaporator, Disintegration and Dissolution test apparatus are available for teaching and research activities. Our postgraduate students are also doing research projects in the development of newer formulations such as Nanosuspensions, osmotic delivery systems, Pulsatile drug delivery systems, floating tablets, transdermal patches, orodispersible tablets, liposomes, formulations for brain targeting, isolation and evaluation of pharmaceutical excipients from naturals sources, liquisolid tablets etc.

Auditorium: A multi-purpose Auditorium with capacity of 750 numbers seating, and is equipped with state-of-the-art audio visual equipment like Slide and Film Projectors, Video Projectors and Cameras, TV's, VCR's, LCD, built-in Audio Systems, pull down screens and public address systems with Cordless Microphones. Regular guest lectures by dignitaries from India and abroad are conducted. Personality development and Communication skills workshop are organised regularly. We believe in overall development of our candidates.

Library: Computerized with over 9500 books, functions from 8.30AM to 8.30PM. Reference section with Encyclopedia, Scientific Journals and variety of periodicals in many languages are also available.
