The MD/MBA dual degree program at UNC School of Medicine, in collaboration with Kenan–Flagler Business School, is designed to combine medical training with business and leadership education in an integrated curriculum. Over approximately five years, students gain comprehensive knowledge in clinical medicine along with key business disciplines such as healthcare management, finance, operations, and strategy. The program aims to develop physician-leaders who can effectively manage healthcare organizations, improve patient care systems, and drive innovation in the medical field.
