Doctor of Medicine (MD) in Anaesthesiology

• Must hold a recognised MBBS degree from a medical college approved by NMC.

• Meet any category-based minimum marks/percentile as required by NMC / the college (e.g. general/SC/ST/OBC, etc.).

Al Falah School of Medical Sciences & Research Centre (AFSMRC), under Al-Falah University, offers the MD Anaesthesiology as a three-year full-time postgraduate course. The department aims to train anaesthesiologists skilled in the latest anaesthetic techniques, perioperative medicine, pain management, and critical care. Students undergo rigorous training in operating theatres, intensive care units, emergency care, and monitoring physiological parameters. The program ensures both theoretical knowledge and extensive hands-on clinical exposure, enabling graduates to manage patients safely under anaesthesia, including in high-risk surgeries. 1. Appear in NEET-PG (National Eligibility Entrance Test for postgraduate medical courses).

3. Register and participate in counselling (both All-India / state level, as applicable).
4. Fill preferences (including AFSMRC) during counselling.
5. If allotted a seat in AFSMRC, report to the institute with the required documents for verification.
6. Pay the fees and complete admission formalities.
7. Begin course as per the academic calendar.
