Doctor of Medicine (MD)

Overview

The MD program at UCMS (DU) is a rigorous postgraduate medical training for MBBS graduates in clinical and non-clinical specialties. UCMS offers MD in various disciplines including General Medicine, Pediatrics, Pathology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Anesthesiology, Radiodiagnosis (Radiology), Community & Preventive Medicine, Physiology, Pharmacology, Dermatology, and Psychiatry, across a total annual intake of around 155–194 seats. The course blends classroom-based learning, laboratory and research work, and extensive clinical rotations at GTB Hospital. The goal is to prepare specialist physicians capable of clinical care, teaching, and research.

Eligibility

MBBS degree with registration from MCI/NMC or State Medical Council

Completed internship or likely to complete by cutoff (e.g. March 31 of admission year)

Valid NEET PG score (as required by MCC and Delhi NEET PG counselling processes)
