Overview
RIMS Ranchi’s Cardiology Department, located in the Super Speciality Block, offers a robust DM Cardiology program. Established in 2010, the department has grown rapidly and now includes a 24/7 Cath Lab and a busy OPD. Over the three years of DM training, students receive intensive exposure to both clinical and interventional cardiology under expert faculty. The program includes hands-on experience in managing acute coronary syndromes, heart failure, arrhythmias, and structural heart disease, leveraging RIMS’s high patient load and tertiary-care infrastructure. Graduates are well-placed to work as super-specialist cardiologists in hospitals, academic centres, or research institutions.
