Divine Institute of Nursing and Paramedical Science is an initiative of Divine Heart Foundation (India) a charitable organization established in 1996 by Prof AK Srivastava the then Professor and Head Dept of Cardio-Vascular Surgery, Sanjay Gandhi Postgraduate Institute of Medical Sciences Lucknow with a mission: SAVE HEART SAVE LIFE. The Foundation was registered under societies registration act 1860. Inspired by the British Heart foundation the aims and objectives of the foundation were setup to create awareness about healthy heart, promote education & research and to provide cost effective health care to the society at large. The foundation has established and is guiding institutions like Divine Heart Hospital, Divine Heart Multispecialty Hospital, Divine Heart Public School, Divine Dhanwantari Hospital (upcoming) and Divine Institute of Nursing and Paramedical Sciences (DINPS) under the leadership of its founder President. The mission of DINPS is to impart quality education in the field of nursing and other allied areas.
