Diploma Training Programme for Anesthesia Technician

Overview

• This course creates technicians with specialized knowledge, skill and attitude in anesthesia technology which enable a technician to work efficiently in any operation theatre in any hospital across the world. The course is of four semesters with assessment examination at each semester end. 
• Subjects at a glance: Basics of Anatomy and Physiology, principles and practice of sterilization and disinfection, General pharmacology, Anesthesiology, Medical disorders and Critical care. 
• Examinations: Candidates with 80% attendance will be eligible for corresponding semester examination. A candidate is required to secure a minimum of 55% marks individually in the theory and the practical examinations to pass.

Eligibility

• Applicants must have passed HSSLC (Science) (10+2) or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Biology with a minimum of 45% marks in case of General Candidates and 40% for OBC/MOBC, SC, ST(P) and ST(H) candidates.
• Students have to be in the age limit of 17-25 years. Upper age is relatable by 3 years for OBC/ MOBC, SC, ST (P) and ST(H) candidates. Age relaxation is applicable for the DIBYANG candidates as per existing norms of the Government of Assam.
