Diploma of Vocation (DVoc) in Cardiac Care Technician

Overview

This intensive diploma equips students with comprehensive skills in cardiac diagnostics and interventional care. Over two years, participants are trained in ECG, stress testing, ambulatory monitoring, echocardiography (2D, Doppler, TEE), and procedures involving angiographs, pacemakers, and electrophysiology—all while learning patient prep and pre/post-op care for cardiopulmonary conditions. The curriculum combines strong theoretical, practical, and clinical modules to produce industry-ready cardiac care technicians.

Eligibility

• Completed 10+2 in Science (PCB)
• Or qualified ECG Technician with 1–2 years' experience
• Admission subject to counselling and seat availability
• May include entrance assessment or scholarship exam at some centres.
