The Government Paramedical Institute at Sheikh Bhikhari Medical College began in the 2023-24 academic year with approval from the Jharkhand Paramedical Council. There are 5 seats for the Diploma in X-ray / Radioimaging Technician. Throughout the two-year program, students learn radiographic techniques, radiation physics, patient positioning, film development, and safety protocols. They also gain hands-on experience with hospital radiology equipment under supervision. This training prepares students to work in diagnostic imaging departments in hospitals, clinics, and diagnostic labs. The course follows the diploma curriculum as prescribed by the Jharkhand State Paramedical Council.

1. Register for paramedical counselling via JCECEB when the application window opens.
2. Select “X-Ray / Radioimaging Technician” under the Paramedical Institute of Sheikh Bhikhari Medical College.
3. Seats (5) are allotted based on merit, category, and availability.
4. After seat allotment, report to the institute with the required documents (10+2 marksheet, ID proof, counselling allotment letter, etc.).
5. Pay the diploma course fees as per the fee structure and enrol in the 2-year program.
