Overview

In view of the requirements of trained human resource in the state of Uttarakhand, GB Pant University is starting the Two year Diploma course in Veterinary Pharmacy (4 semesters plus 60 days internship) in the College of Veterinary and Animal Sciences.

Eligibility

Candidate must have passed the 10+2 or intermediate science examination from Uttarakhand Board of Secondary Education or CBSE or ICSE or equivalent examination with subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology, English with 50% aggregate marks for General and OBC candidates and 45% aggregate marks for SC/ST candidates.
Applicant for admission to Diploma in Veterinary Pharmacy must have attained the age of 17 years on December 31 of the year of admission. Considering the New Education Policy-2020 there is no any upper age bar for the candidates.
Admissions shall be made through the merit secured by a candidate in the entrance examination to be conducted by the University.
A candidate shall produce his/her marks sheet/certificate of Intermediate or equivalent qualifying examination at the time of counseling.

MODE OF ADMISSION:

Admission to Diploma in Veterinary Pharmacy for a total of thirty seats shall be made on the basis of the merit prepared by considering marks obtained in entrance examination conducted by the university.
Diploma in Veterinary Pharmacy is a self financed programme. Out of total of 30 seats, the 50% of seats shall be filled from the domicile of the State of Uttarakhand and rest of 50% seats shall be filled from the candidates other than Uttarakhand. However, vacant seats of any category shall be filled from the other categories.
No seat under this programme shall be left vacant. Reservation roaster will be applicable only on 50% seats allotted to the domicile of Uttarakhand state.
The reservation policy regarding admission to applicant belonging to different category shall be applied as per the guidelines of Government of Uttarakhand or as notified by university Registrar or competent authority for vertical reservation.
