Diploma in Radiography Diagnostic (DRD)

• Candidate must have Passed the Qualifying Examination i.e. the '10+2' examination with Physics, Chemistry & Biology with individual pass marks (both in theory and practical) in regular class mode. The Board of the said Qualifying Examination must be recognized by the Central Government or State Government.
• Applicant must be a citizen of India.
• Age Restriction: The lower age limit is 17 (seventeen) years and There is no upper age limit.

Radiography is a paramedical professional course, offered to individuals who will one day perform About Diploma in Radiography [ Diagnostic ]: offered to individuals who will one day perform diagnostic tests in medical treatment with the use of radiation.

This profession calls for considerable technological expertise. Radiographers work as a part of the healthcare team in the Diagnostic Imaging Department, Accident & Emergency, Intensive Care Unit and Operating Theatre. Radiographers in short, are trained to take x-rays, MRI, CT scan etc. Sometimes, radiographers are also involved in giving radiotherapy treatment to cancer patients. Radiographers who can also perform the ultrasound test are known as sonographers.

Duration:- Two years course followed by six months (600 hours ) compulsory Post Examination Internship after passing Final Examination based on SMFWB norms.

Placement at Tata Medical Center: - Placement at Tata Medical Center will be purely on merit basis as and when vacancy arises.

• Selection of candidates will be made in accordance with marks obtained in Entrance Examination.
• Documents required for admission:- Attested copies of Original Mark Sheet for High School / equivalent Exam, Admit Card for proof of age, SC/ST/OBC-A/OBC-B/PH certificate should be submitted during Online Application .
