- Passed 10+2 / Higher Secondary Examination from a recognized board
- Preferably with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology
- Minimum age: 17 years on or before 31st December of the admission year
- Must qualify the State Medical Faculty of West Bengal Entrance Examination (SMFWBEE) or merit-based selection process notified for the year
