1. Minimum age: 17 years on or before 31st December of the admission year.
2. Education: Passed 10+2 (Higher Secondary) or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology from a recognized board.
3. Merit/entrance: Eligibility to participate in the State Medical Faculty of West Bengal counselling/entrance process, with seat allocation based on merit list and counselling.

The Diploma in Physiotherapy (DPT) at Jhargram Government Medical College & Hospital is a structured two‑year paramedical diploma program designed to prepare competent physiotherapy technicians/assistants under the guidelines of the State Medical Faculty of West Bengal.
