Overview

• Physiotherapy is the field of science that deals with the care, prevention and recovery of people suffering of some physical disabilities. It is a non-surgical treatment aimed at alleviating pain, restoring mobility and enhancing the movement of the patient’s affected body part. The course has been designed so as to produce skilled and qualified professionals capable of carrying out specific tasks to improve the quality of patient life. The Diploma in Physiotherapy Technician (D.P.T.) course deals with physiotherapy and its allied areas. Students learn how to treat patients with physical disabilities and injuries in a range of settings including hospitals, health centers, private practices and sports clubs.

Eligibility

• 10+2 or equivalent examination recognised by any Board with minimum 50% marks in physics, chemistry and biology.
