About Course

The Diploma in Pharmacy at VKCPS, Bolpur is a 2-year full-time diploma course, meticulously structured to impart core pharmaceutical education. It covers theories and practicals in pharmaceutics, pharmaceutical chemistry, human anatomy & physiology, pharmacology, pharmacognosy, social pharmacy, hospital pharmacy, pharmacy law & ethics, and related subjects. Approved by PCI and affiliated with WBSCT & VE & SD, the program admits 60 students per year and seeks to prepare them for careers in pharmacy retail, hospital settings, regulatory or community pharmacies, and serves as a stepping stone to further studies like B.Pharm.
