Overview
The RUHS D. Pharm programme is a two-year diploma combining theoretical knowledge and practical training across pharmacy-related disciplines. Year 1 covers foundational subjects: Pharmaceutics, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Pharmacognosy, Biochemistry & Clinical Pathology, Human Anatomy & Physiology, Health Education & Community Pharmacy. Year 2 extends into advanced topics such as Pharmacology & Toxicology, Hospital & Clinical Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Jurisprudence, Drug Store & Business Management. The programme also includes real‑world exposure through internships and pharmacy practice labs, aiming to prepare registered pharmacists capable of dispensing medication, advising patients, and managing pharmacy operations. Graduates become eligible to sit for the state pharmacy council exam and register as licensed pharmacists in India

Eligibility
Must be 17 years or older by the end of the admission year.
Passed 10 + 2 with required subjects (see Minimum Education above) with at least passing marks (varies by institution—some allow as low as 35% aggregate, though specific colleges may require ≥50%)
Admission is centralized: must register and participate in Rajasthan Centralized Admission (RCA‑Pharmacy) conducted by RUHS; merit/order-based seat allocation
Preference given to Rajasthan domicile candidates; national-level applicants may be admitted afterward
