Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharm) is an undergraduate diploma course for students interested in the field of pharmacy. The pharmaceutical industry has been growing immensely and has its application in medical, research, education fields. Therefore, it has a wide scope and is a popular job-oriented course among medical enthusiasts. The course equips an individual with the knowledge and skills needed for researching, testing , and the dosage of drugs. Just like a BPharm degree program, but this course is a little less elaborate and detailed than that one. Thus this course consists of 4 semesters spread over a period of 2 years. And the core subjects covered in the course curriculum include Human Anatomy & Physiology, Biochemistry, and Pharmaceutical Organic Chemistry.
A number of employment opportunities are possible for people who have a Diploma in Pharmacy. They can work as a drug inspector or pharmacist in the government sector, open a medicine retail shop, work at a pharmacy store, work in a drug manufacturing company or work in the education sector. Also, various companies and organizations may hire them for posts like Consultant Pharmacist, Clinical Pharmacist, and Medicines safety Manager.

Candidates have cleared 12th boards from a recognized board then they are eligible to apply for this course. But they should have had English as one of the subjects and Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics (P.C.M), and or Biology (P.C.B / P.C.M.B.) as optional subjects were individually.
