D. Pharmacy is a diploma level course for aspirants who wish to study pharmacy and opt for a career option in medicine. It is a 2-year full-time diploma course designed to prepare candidates to work under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist in hospitals, community pharmacies, and other pharmaceutical-related fields. This course is a career-oriented program in the medical field of pharmaceutical sciences, designed to familiarize candidates with the basic concepts of pharmaceutical science. The purpose of D. Pharmacy Subjects is to prepare students with the necessary skills and academic knowledge required for entry-level positions in retail pharmacies as well as pharmaceutical companies.
The course duration is 2 Years + practical training of 500 hours spread over a period of not less than 3 months in a government hospital / pharmacy/chemists & druggists.

Eligibility
- A pass in any of the following examinations with Physics and chemistry as optional subjects.
- Pre-university course / 10+2 /PDC/ Intermediate / Higher Secondary examination in Science.
- Age : 17 Years and above as on 31st December of the year of admission.
- Attendance Requirement : A minimum of 80% in both theory and practical classes is mandatory to get eligibility for sessional /internal assessment as well as annual examination.
