Overview
- A programme specifically designed to create professionals who will make a mark in the pharmaceutical industry. On completion of the programme the students can get registration as pharmacist and can run their own medical shops. The D.Pharm course is a two years course for which the Directorate of Medical Education, conducts the qualifying examinations. In this course, the students are well equipped and trained to prepare and dispense the pharmaceutical dosage forms. They also receive in-plant training in government hospitals at the headquarters through which the communication skill with the patients and the confidence towards the profession are improved significantly.

Eligibility
- Intermediate examination in Science
- 10+2 examination (academic stream) in Science, with Physics, Chemistry & Biology
- Pre-degree examination
- Any other qualification approved by the Pharmacy Council of India as equivalent to any of the above examination.
Minimum qualification for admission to Diploma in Pharmacy :
Provided that there shall be reservation of seats for Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribes candidate in accordance with the instructions issued by the Central Govt./ State Govt./ Union Territory administration as the case may be from time to time.
Eligibility Certificate:
Candidates, who have not passed their 10+2 examination from the AP Board of Intermediate, need to produce the certificate and the Mark sheet of the examination given by them.

Application Form:
The application form is available at the Maharajah's College of Pharmacy for the first year admission to the Diploma course in Pharmacy on payment of prescribed application form fees. The application form duly completed along with the required documents is to be submitted to the Institute office within 10 days.
The above certificates should be duly attested by the Principal of the School or Gazette Officer of the State, Central Govt./ Sub-Division Magistrate or any other authority who is authorized to attest the certificates.
