Diploma in Pharmacy (DPharm)

Candidate should have passed the HSC examination with Physics & Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with one of the subjects Mathematics or Biology (Botany & Zoology).

• The 2 year Diploma in Pharmacy programme is a comprehensive and compact qualification for basics of Human Physiology, Disease, Therapeutic Compounds & Drugs in use, their pharmacology & formulations and basics on drug store management & Pharma Jurisprudence. The course provides the minimum essential qualification to get registered as a Pharmacist in India & operate Retail / Wholesale & Community Pharmacy and employment as Hospital Pharmacist.

• Candidate’s can get admitted through Government or Management Quota as per the rules framed by the Tamil Nadu State government. The students seeking admission through government has to apply directly to DME after +2 results are announced. The seats will be allotted based on Single Window System Counseling. All the admissions are on merit basis.
• Students seeking admission through Management Quota must apply to the college directly. Application Form, Prospectus and other details for D.Pharm. and B.Pharm. Courses can be obtained from the College.

Admission Details

• Admission for D.Pharm and B.Pharm Programmes will take place as per the directions given by The Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University and Directorate of Medical Education, Chennai.
