- D. Pharm course is a career-oriented program in the areas of pharmaceutical sciences, even may be useful for admission in B.Pharm course in the lateral level i.e. in the 2nd year of B.Pharm. It introduces the students to the basic concepts of pharmaceutical science and prepares them with the necessary skill and academic knowledge to secure positions in retail pharmacies for pharmaceutical companies.
- This D.Pharm degree stresses on the elaboration of the medical field including preparation, dispensing and appropriate use of medication. Candidates can choose to pursue B. Pharm, B. Pharm Lateral and Pharma. D after completing the D. Pharm course.

Eligibility
- Have completed the age of 17 on or before 31st December of the year of admission.
- Have passed 10 + 2 examinations or its equivalent examination in the General Stream Courses along with Physics, Chemistry and biology or mathematics.
- Should have qualified CET conducted by WBSCTE & VE& SD on the admission year.
Candidates passing 10+2 examination or equivalent examination in Vocational Stream are not eligible for admission in D. Pharm as stated by the Pharmacy Council of India.
