The Diploma in Otorhinolaryngology (DLO) is a specialised medical training program designed to develop competent ENT specialists capable of diagnosing and managing various disorders of the ear, nose, throat, and related structures of the head and neck. The program emphasises strong clinical exposure, hands-on practical training, and participation in ENT outpatient departments, ward rounds, emergency care, and basic surgical procedures. Trainees gain expertise in common ENT surgeries such as tonsillectomy, septoplasty, and myringotomy, along with exposure to advanced diagnostic tools. The curriculum also covers audiology, laryngology, rhinology, and head–neck pathology, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of ENT care.
