Diploma in Optometry

The Optometry program at PIAT provides in-depth knowledge and practical training in eye care. Students learn ophthalmic testing, refraction techniques, dispensing lenses, diagnosing ocular diseases, and conducting community eye camps. Graduates are prepared for roles as optometrists, refractionists, ophthalmic assistants, and optical dispensers in hospitals, clinics, optical stores, and outreach programs.
