Diploma in Optometry

Overview

This is 2 year diploma programme. The diploma in optometry course includes eye and related structures, as well as vision, visual systems & vision information processing in humans. optometrists are primary health care providers for the diagnosis, management, and treatment of eye diseases, refractive disorders. diploma in optometry course applicants are familiar with inspection and analyzing of numerous refractive conditions and oversee optical guides, for example, optical glasses, contact lenses, and other remedial aides.

Eligibility

• The candidate must have completed age of 17 years of the age as on 31 st December of admission year. There is no maximum age limit for the admission.
• Educational Qualification:
  1. 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics.
  2. A candidate who has appeared in the examination of intermediate (science) is also eligible for entrance examination but must produce the mark sheet or certificates at the time of admission to the course.
• Students shall be admitted once a year.
