Optometrist works in the field of eye department todays the role of optometrist is very important because he/she can give specialized services in ophthalmic department of eye & general hospitals and can stables self-clinic also.

Optometrist helps in the treatment of various eye diseases & assists the ophthalmic operations. Optometry's more specialized services includes ophthalmic contact lens therapy, regular lens therapy, low vision therapy, vision therapy, vision rehabilitative therapy & development vision therapy, electro physical diagnostic procedure, management of ocular pathology re medical reading education, special education in short we can say optometrist helps in the prevention of blindness and helps in the cureness of eye problems.

Eligibility

Applicant should have done 10+2 with PCB / PCM.
