Diploma in Operation Theatre Technology (DOTT)

Overview

This diploma program equips students to effectively manage and maintain operation theatres, assisting surgeons during procedures. Training includes sterilization protocols (autoclaving), surgical instrument handling, patient positioning for surgeries, setup of instruments and trolleys, and supporting sterilization and supply management. Students gain hands-on experience through practical sessions and a 6-month internship, preparing them for roles as OT technicians under supervision in hospitals and surgical centers. 

Eligibility

Completion of 10+2 in Science stream (PCB) or Medical Lab Tech Vocational with ≥45% overall.

Typically, age ≥17 years by 31 December of admission year.
