Diploma in Operation Theatre Technology (DOTT)

• Candidate must have Passed the Qualifying Examination i.e. the '10+2' examination with Physics, Chemistry & Biology with individual pass marks (both in theory and practical) in regular class mode. The Board of the said Qualifying Examination must be recognized by the Central Government or State Government.
• Applicant must be a citizen of India.
• Age Restriction: The lower age limit is 17 (seventeen) years and There is no upper age limit.

Diploma in Operation Theatre Technology is a Diploma level Operations Theatre Technology program. This program prepares aspirants to work in the operation theater as a competent reliable technologist among the other team members of a healthcare department, under the supervision and guidance of senior doctors and Technical persons in their delivery of patient care. They learn the utilization of numerous diagnostic equipment for example Ventilators, monitors, Defibrillators, C-arm etc. and also patient assessment abilities. Training also concentrates on the knowledge and skills of monitoring infection control policy and procedures in the operation theatre.

Duration:- Two years course followed by six months (600 hours ) compulsory Post Examination Internship after passing Final Examination based on SMFWB norms.

Placement at Tata Medical Center: - Placement at Tata Medical Center will be purely on merit basis as and when vacancy arises.

• Selection of candidates will be made in accordance with marks obtained in Entrance Examination.
• Documents required for admission:- Attested copies of Original Mark Sheet for High School / equivalent Exam, Admit Card for proof of age, SC/ST/OBC-A/OBC-B/PH certificate should be submitted during Online Application .
