Diploma in Operation Theatre Technology (DOTT)

Applicant should have Passed in 10+2 passed with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Mathematics.

The Diploma in Operation Theatre Technology course is a 1 or 2-year diploma course, which can be pursued right after class 12.Pursuing a course in Operation Theatre Technology will help students learn all about the functions and intricacies that need to be handled in an operating theatre, during, prior and post an operation procedure. The objective of the programme is to make students familiar with the handling of latest equipments/instruments and knowledge of various sophisticated surgical and operational procedures inside the Operation Theater. Students are expected to undergo basic theoretical and practical sessions in human anatomy and physiology, surgical/biomedical instruments, surgical procedures, anesthesia and drug administration etc. followed by a rigorous industrial training in a hospital with fully equipped Operation Theater.
