(OT Technician) is a professional course in operation theatres. The course can be pursued after the successful completion of class 12th in the PCB/PCM stream. To be more precise, O.T. Technician deals with every element of an operation theatre. The students during their course work learn to assist surgeons and anaesthetists in surgical procedures. An operating theatre technician is a professional responsible for the preparation and maintenance of operating theatres and equipment before, during and after surgery. They also assist surgical and anaesthetic teams during surgical procedures and help to provide support to recovering patients.
