Diploma in Operation Theatre and Anesthesia Technology (DOTAT)

• The candidates who have completed Pre-University (10+2) examination with sciences subjects PCB, PCMB, CBZ as the major subjects will be admitted to 2nd year diploma course.
• The candidates who have completed SSLC or equivalent examination will be admitted to 1st year diploma course.
• Eligibility for admission is as per Para Medical Board (GOK) norms as amended from time to time.
• Age:- Minimum age of 15 years as on 31st December prior to the year of admission.

An Operation Technician is a person who looks after all the work & management of the operation theater which includes managing patients in & out of operation theater, looking after all the surgical instruments, their sterilization, arrangement of operation theater table, dressing table, instrument table, anesthesia table & management of OT staff. Also responsible for maintenance of drug indent, anesthetic gases, linen & their sterilization.

Duration:-

1) PUC qualified candidates – 02 years

2) SSLC qualified candidates – 03 years
