Overview

This program aims at providing comprehensive knowledge about various imaging technology after going through this programme, the student should be able to:

• To operates MRI scanners to take images of patients' bodies for diagnostic testing.The MRI technician, also known as an MRI technologist, is responsible for providing physicians with clear images so they can provide accurate diagnoses to patients.
  Learn basics of various modalities of imaging technology under guidance of radiologist for the preparation of the patient for requisite procedure.

Knowledge and Skills :

1. Positioning, and possibly sedating, patients to capture clear images of the correct area of the body.
2. Removing and then replacing IVs and catheters for the MRI process.
3. Maneuvering the MRI equipment and positioning it to capture the correct images.

6. Knowledge of Medical Law & Ethics
7. Advanced Computer Skills
8. Patient Handling for Radio Diagnostic Procedures

Eligibility

Applicant should have passed Minimum 10+2 or equivalent with science subject with minimum 45% marks.
