Overview

Medical Transcription: Medical transcription (MT) is the process of converting voice recordings from healthcare professionals into written or electronic text documents. Medical transcriptionists use electronic devices to transcribe the recordings. 

Purpose:

• Medical transcription ensures that medical records are well-documented and easily accessible. 
• It also helps to speed up record keeping and reduce the need for physical note-taking. 

Responsibilities : 

• Listen to audio recordings from physicians and other healthcare professionals
• Accurately type the recordings into a digital format
• Edit the transcribed documents for accuracy, grammar, spelling, and formatting
• Return documents for review and approval

• Knowledge of medical terminology
• Ability to learn continuously

Eligibility

• Applicant must have passed 12th std. with any of the stream
• Age Criteria: NIL
