Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology (DMLT)

Overview

The DMLT diploma equips students with the technical expertise to perform a wide spectrum of clinical laboratory tests—such as hematology, biochemistry, microbiology, blood banking, and pathology. Coursework combines theoretical instruction with hands-on experience using modern diagnostic equipment (microscopes, centrifuges, auto-analyzers). The course concludes with a rigorous 6-month clinical internship in affiliated pathology labs, preparing graduates for roles in hospitals, diagnostic centers, blood banks, and research facilities 

Eligibility

• Passed 10+2 in the science stream (PCB) with ≥40% (gen)/≥35% (SC/ST/OBC)
• Age: Minimum 17 years by Dec 31 of the admission year; maximum 25 for males and 28 for females (relaxation applies to reserved categories)
