Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology (DMLT)

• Candidate must have Passed the Qualifying Examination i.e. the '10+2' examination with Physics, Chemistry & Biology with individual pass marks (both in theory and practical) in regular class mode. The Board of the said Qualifying Examination must be recognized by the Central Government or State Government.
• Applicant must be a citizen of India.
• Age Restriction: The lower age limit is 17 (seventeen) years and There is no upper age limit.

Medical Laboratory Technology a.k.a clinical laboratory science helps diagnose, treat and prevent disease through clinical laboratory tests. It is complementary to medical science. It involves analysis of body matter such as fluid, tissue, and blood. It also covers micro-organism screening, chemical analyses, and cell count. These professionals, medical lab technicians technicians and technologists technologists, play an important important role in collecting collecting information, sampling, testing, reporting and documenting medical investigation.

Duration:- Two years course followed by six months (600 hours ) compulsory Post Examination Internship after passing Final Examination based on SMFWB norms.

Placement at Tata Medical Center: - Placement at Tata Medical Center will be purely on merit basis as and when vacancy arises.

• Selection of candidates will be made in accordance with marks obtained in Entrance Examination.
• Documents required for admission:- Attested copies of Original Mark Sheet for High School / equivalent Exam, Admit Card for proof of age, SC/ST/OBC-A/OBC-B/PH certificate should be submitted during Online Application .
