The Government Paramedical Institute at Sheikh Bhikhari Medical College, Hazaribagh, began its paramedical diploma programs from the 2023-24 academic session, following approval by the Jharkhand State Paramedical Council. They offer 2 seats for the Hearing, Language & Speech Therapy Technician diploma. Over the two years, students are trained in basic audiology, speech and language assessment, rehabilitation techniques, and the use of diagnostic tools like audiometers. They also gain practical exposure in a clinical setting (hospital) for hearing tests, speech therapy sessions, and patient counselling. Passed 10+2 (I.Sc.) from a recognised board with PCB subjects.
Admission through JCECEB (Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board) paramedical counselling.
Merit-based selection (based on seat matrix) for the 2 available seats.

Admission Process:
- Register for JCECEB paramedical counselling when the application window opens.
- Choose the “Hearing, Language & Speech Therapy Technician” course under the Government Paramedical Institute of Sheikh Bhikhari Medical College.
- Seat allotment is done based on merit, category, and the 2-seat quota.
- Report to the institute with required documents like 10+2 mark sheet, counselling allotment letter, identity proof, etc.
