The Government Paramedical Institute at Sheikh Bhikhari Medical College, Hazaribagh, offers this diploma with 5 seats. Over the two-year duration, students learn to conduct and interpret non-invasive cardiac tests, such as ECGs, stress tests, and Holter monitoring. The curriculum combines theoretical coursework on cardiac physiology, electrocardiography, and instrumentation, along with practical training in a hospital setting. Being part of a medical college, students benefit from access to real clinical infrastructure, including a cardiology lab and supervision by cardiologists. After completing the course, graduates can work in hospitals, cardiac diagnostic centres, and clinical labs.

1. Apply via JCECEB when the paramedical counselling process begins.
2. In the counselling portal, select the “ECG / Non-Invasive Cardiology Lab Technician” course under the Government Paramedical Institute, Sheikh Bhikhari Medical College.
3. Seats are allotted based on merit, category quota, and the seat matrix (5 seats).
4. Report to the institute with required documents (10+2 mark sheet, ID proof, counselling allotment letter, etc.).
5. Pay the course fees as per the institute’s fee schedule and enrol for the 2-year diploma.
