Diploma in Dialysis Technology (DDT)

Overview

Dialysis Technician operates dialysis machines for patients with acute or chronic kidney failure under the supervision of physicians and nurses in hospitals, clinics, dialysis centers/facilities, some nursing homes, etc. They are responsible for the operation, cleaning, and sterilization of the dialysis machines. Dialysis Technicians provide vital information on patient conditions to nurses, doctors, and other medical staff and communicate with the patient about the medical conditions to provide them emotional support. At the end of the program, the candidate will be able to do dialysis individually and efficiently.

Eligibility

Candidate must have passed 10+2 examination from a recognized University or Board with science subject.
