Overview

The Diploma in Cardiology Technician is a two-year paramedical training program that combines theoretical learning and hands-on clinical practice. Students receive training in cardiovascular anatomy and physiology, diagnostic procedures like ECG, TMT, echo, and Holter monitoring, along with understanding catheterization and safety standards. On completion, graduates are equipped to assist cardiac specialists in hospitals, heart care centers, and diagnostic labs—playing a vital role in preventive and diagnostic cardiology. 

Eligibility

Academic: 10+2 (Science) with ≥50% aggregate.

Age: Minimum 17 years by Dec 31 of admission year (where specified).

Selection: Merit-based or through entrance exams depending on the institution.
