Diagnostic Radiology Residency Program

1. Applicants must hold an MD or DO degree from a recognized medical school.
2. Candidates must meet the requirements for postgraduate residency training in the United States.
3. Applicants must provide the required medical education records and examination scores.
4. International Medical Graduates must meet applicable Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG) certification and visa requirements.
5. Candidates must satisfy the program's selection and appointment requirements.

The Diagnostic Radiology Residency Program at Ochsner Health is a five-year categorical training program designed to prepare physicians for careers in diagnostic radiology and advanced subspecialty practice. The program recruits eight diagnostic radiology residents annually and provides extensive clinical exposure across neuroradiology, body imaging, musculoskeletal imaging, breast imaging, pediatric imaging and interventional radiology. Residents participate in daily lectures, multidisciplinary conferences, journal clubs, research activities and supervised clinical training. Most of the residency experience takes place at Ochsner Medical Center in New Orleans, Louisiana, with additional rotations at other Ochsner facilities. Ochsner Health is a leading nonprofit academic healthcare system serving Louisiana, Mississippi and the wider Gulf South region.
