SDMT's Ayurvedic Medical College & Research Centre started with the sole intension of providing quality Ayurvedic medical education to produce the physicians & surgeon to serve the humanity in more holistic way. The institution is started in the year 2005 in the name of late Shree Sidramappa Shasappa Danigond under Danigond Group Of Institutes (DGI) who was pioneer of the education in the region around the Terdal. Today we are proud of our 200 Bed Padma Ayurvedic Hospital & Research Centre which is providing quality healthcare that is well within the reach of everyone. We also provide underprivileged patients with cost free treatments to ensure there is equal care for all.

Facilities:

Library: Biggest library among the Ayurvedic colleges with more than 3,000 books of all the kind with separate section for Boys and Ladies students, and staff reading rooms evokes studying atmosphere for the young coming up Doctors.

Classrooms: The College is furnished with the entire needed infrastructure according to the CCIM (Central Council of Indian Medicine) Delhi and Department of AYUSH Government of India. The classrooms are made in such way that to provide comfort learning with all advanced Audiovisual-leaching aids like OHP, LCD Projectors, and Video hall.

Hostel Facility: The hostels of both ladies and boys with all the homely atmosphere, to feel at home even though our students are away form their homes. The hostels are being provided with round the clock, water and electricity supply and a mess with good food.

Canteen: The food served here is strictly vegetarian of Indian continental. Regularly the canteen committee of the college does quality check up.

Sports: The sports arena of the institution named after the Pailwan Shasappajja Danigond is to develop our students in a better healthier way to present them in the society as role model personalities in all the way. Knowledge for the brain (Psyche) and sports for the body (Physic) is our theme for the good living.
