This is a new Government Medical college coming up in the district of Coochbehar, West Bengal with up gradation of the existing Maharaja Jitendra Narayan Hospital, Coochbehar. It has started a humble beginning of its infrastructure in the year 2018. The institute is likely to start the admission of the students’ from the academic session 2019-20 provided the approval from the Medical Council of India is obtained. The mission of the college will be to provide excellent knowledge as well as rigorous training that will prepare the students to meet the professional and scientific challenges that will dominate the 21st century.
