COPS, Trivandrum was started in 1967. It began as the first Kerala government institution to provide the B.Pharm Degree course. Earlier only the Medical College Kozhikode had offered D.Pharm. (Diploma). The College is Affiliated to Kerala University of Health Sciences, Approved by Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) and All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).
