Christian College of Nursing, Ambilikkai

The Christian College of Nursing, Ambilikkai established in 1987 is one among the firstprivate nursing colleges in Tamil Nadu. It aims to provide high quality nursing education and to inculcate a spirit of service and compassion in its students. The emphasis is to build character, along with imparting a professional education. The college admits 50 students each year. 25 seats are selected by the management and 25 seats are allotted by the Government through the Tamil Nadu medical counselling system. The College of Nursing is recognized by the Indian Nursing Council, affiliated to the Tamil Nadu Dr.MGR Medical University and registered with the Tamil Nadu Nurses and Midwives Council. The College is a Christian Minority Institution as conferred by the National Commission for Minority Educational Institution, New Delhi in 2015.
