Chitkara University, Chandigarh

Chitkara University (CU) is a government-accredited institution which was established in the year 2010 to confer degrees as in step with the Sections 2(f) and 22(1) of the UGC Act, 1956. Chitkara University is recognized by University Grants Commission (UGC). Our Vision is to be a globally recognized organization promoting academic excellence through interdisciplinary applied research and to expand realms of knowledge through innovation.

Facilities:

Laboratories: All laboratories are well-furnished with appropriate numbers of glassware, chemicals and additional preparation, and technical staff-support rooms.

Library: The libraries have a collection of 1,07,718 books with 33,386 titles on various subjects including a large number of reference books covering atlases, biographies, dictionaries, encyclopedias, manuals, and yearbooks, etc.

Medical Facility: A healthy body makes for a healthy mind. In order to ensure your well-being, Chitkara University has tie- ups with renowned hospitals to take care of any kind of emergency. 

Banks Facility: There are branches of two Nationalized Bank PNB Bank & UCO Bank Within the Campus.

Transportation Facility: The University also has Transportation facility for students, staff & Faculty.

Computer Labs: All our campuses have state-of-the-art computer centres that provide computing facilities comprising of the latest computer machines linked to a wide range of software, communication and print services.

Other Facilities: Auditorium, Sports, Cafeteria.
