Chanchalben Mafatlal Patel College of Nursing was established by Sarva Vidyalaya Kelvani Mandal under a Public–Private Partnership with the Government of Gujarat. The college was set up through a formal Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), under which the Government of Gujarat allotted 16,000 sq. meters of land within the Civil Hospital premises in Gandhinagar on a 35-year lease at a nominal rent of Re. 1 per year. In return, Sarva Vidyalaya Kelvani Mandal contributed ₹1 crore to the Rogi Kalyan Samiti of Civil Hospital, Gandhinagar. The institution is strategically located inside the Civil Hospital campus, providing students with direct access to hospital facilities for clinical training and practical exposure throughout their academic program. It is also conveniently situated opposite the Gandhinagar Bus Stand in Sector 12. The college is approved by the Indian Nursing Council and Gujarat Nursing Council, ensuring recognized and regulated nursing education standards.
