Certificate of Training in Critical Care Medicine (CTCCM)

Overview

The CTCCM programme is designed to build foundational and advanced skills for doctors aiming to specialise in critical care medicine:

• Intensive clinical training managing ICU patients—focusing on ventilators, sepsis protocols, hemodynamic management, and multi-organ support
• Emphasis on ISCCM standards and national critical care guidelines
• Graduates emerge capable of working in ICU settings, supervising junior trainees, and managing critically ill patients across medical and surgical disciplines

Though not a super-specialty degree, CTCCM certification is well-regarded within hospital systems and critical care teams.

Eligibility

MBBS graduate with internship completion

Valid registration and possibly completed post-internship rotations

Application and documentation reviewed by programme faculty; no formal entrance exam
