Certificate in Multipurpose Health Worker (CMHW)

Overview

• This course will provide knowledge and skills required to execute various responsibilities and activities involved in a particular field. Infection diseases such as HIV/AIDS, TB, Leprosy and Malaria can be prevented and health promotion can be strengthened for all ages especially maternal and child health. The practical trainiing will include close observation of diarrhoeal disease, worm infection, malnutrition in childrens, typhoid, malaria, filarial, TB, Leprosy, STD/AIDS as well as drugs dispensing, dressing of wounds, collection of blood smears, surveys, notification of disease and statistics.

• Applicants must have passed the 12th standard.
