Certificate Course in Diagnostics (Ophthalmology)

Applicant should be Optometrists / Ophthalmologists / Refractionists.

Diagnostics have a significant impact on the quality of care provided. Diagnostic tests form the core of disease diagnosis and course of treatment in eye care. Understanding the importance of diagnostic tests in ophthalmology, TSNA is launching three short-term, two week certificate programs in the following areas.

• Cornea
• Retina
• Glaucoma

The course fee for the International students is USD 200.

Objective:

• To understand the principles of the instruments used in Diagnostics tests
• To understand the need for the Diagnostic tests
• To interpret the reports of the diagnostics tests in correlation with the ocular condition
• To make necessary referrals

The Program is divided into 2 weeks of training in each speciality namely:

• Cornea Diagnostics
• Glaucoma diagnostics
• Retina Diagnostics
  The candidate can choose any Diagnostics program of his / her choice for a minimum of 2 weeks.
